Jcosky Wool Felted Qirsh Hat | Navy

Wool felted hat made by Jcosky in Padua, Italy from merino wool. Softly structured with a gentle crease to the crown. The name ‘Qirsh’ is derived from the Arabic term for ‘shark,’ referring to the fold in the crown.

Based in Padua, Italy, the workshop is run by a couple who learned the art of hatmaking from a master milliner in Montecatini Terme. Working primarily with vintage machinery, they craft each hat by hand, steaming and shaping every crease from a traditional wooden open crown block.
